Hi Paul, a standard service on the k1200 at 12K would be about 200 Euro, BUT that obviously depends on what was done (not done) on the last service and any/or potential damage since then due to God knows what, ye know yourself.

Mark's mobile and business landline no. is on his website http://platinummotorcycles.ie/ He's a real friendly fella so give him a shout and go from there.

If ye decide to give him the work take the offer on the free courtesy bike, it's an F800ST, and even for an hours run up to Roundwood and back it's a surprisingly fun bike, a lot lighter then your used to but a real joy to play on, not far different from my own F800R and well worth a blast.

Great review Den. I have a K1200rs and will definitely check Platimum out when it needs a service. Out of curiosity how much does he charge for a 12000 mile service?
